OK, I haven't seen this movie yet, but my facility manager loves it. She was very happy that it won the Oscars' Best Film and Director categories as well as a few others. I'm just glad that it beat Cameron's Avatar with its simpleton plot and stereotypical lousy portrayal of soldiers.

Need some Techy help. I broke down and bought a LG Blu Ray Disc player. Hooked it up, plugged it in and it would freeze up while playing a movie. Checked wiring, rewired, used other wires sill froze up. Tried a DVD (vs a Blu Ray Disc) in the machine, worked fine. [...]

If open-source learning can combine with the right delivery platform (not sure the iPad is it, but it's probably the closest thing out there right now), we can both bring down student (and parent!) costs and improve the quality at the same time.

Kevin – You are too hung up on what you are not required to state. We all know that. No, you certainly don't have to state that you are not Baptist but you ignore that fact that often, in life, at situations as you describe, people ASK if you are. Not out of malicious intent, [...]

Kevin – You live life very black and white, clearly. The bottom line is, you put 5 males troops together going downtown and unless one of 'em says so the other 4 assume he's straight. Period. NMike – the 'people assume' is also a false analogy. I am not responsible for what people assume about me. That is not a lie by omission.

Sorry Kevin – but you missed a key point here. You don't go around telling anyone you are hetero because society assumes you are. why? because >90% of the population is. Therefore, when you see a male, you assume he's straight (unless you are blessed with 'gaydar'

Yes, that's EXACTLY how it works. If someone asks if they can fix you up, just say, "No thanks, I have a boyfriend." If they ask you who's sending you cookies, just say "My partner." If they ask why you're upset, just say "Steve just dumped me." If they ask if you have kids, just [...]
