    DISTURBING ENTERTAINMENT REPORT…

FOX411 Exclusive: ‘Captain America’ role is John Krasinski’s [...]

It's good to see someone get super famous in the class. I'm glad it's my OBC mate, Mark Valley. Vals was pretty impressive waltzing into bars in Georgetown (back when EN OBC was at Belvoir) wearing Teds and doing a Jimmy Stewart impersonation so it's no surprise to see his years of hard acting work pay off. We had lunch last year in Santa Monica and his role in the Human target had not materialized.

My review of the Pilot: Mark's humor is finally being allowed to shine through. yea, the plots are cliche but who cares. It was a good episode and these shows are more about character development than exquisite plot twists. Mark seems to feel at home in this role, as well he should. There was a great writeup in the NY Times as well: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/10/arts/television/10valley.html

Who else saw the show? Reviews?

    Go Vals!

And to think it all started with the impersonation of the Unknown Comic donning a brown paper bag and dress gray!

Loved Mark's display of techniques honed in CCQ. Perhaps the next episode will demonstrate his finesse with multiple pugil sticks.

As Mike wrote, "plots are cliche." The predictability of the plot, while expected, is disappointing.

My oldest daughter and I a rooting for success here. I embarassed her during the reunion when I got Mar to pose with her for a picture. Here's hoping he makes it big but not so big that he'll refuse to sign the picture at the next reunion.

In a fight between Chuck Norris and Jack Bauer, the winner would be: Mark Valley.

    1. Mark Valley can touch MC Hammer

3.Mark Valley doesn't wear a watch, he decides what time it is.
    4. Mark Valley is so fast he an run around the world and punch himself in the back of the head
    5. Mark Valley can divide by zero
    6. Mark Valley doesn't read books. He Stares them own unti he gets the information he wants
    7. When Mark Valley does a push-up, he doesn't push himself up, he pushes the earth down.
    8. Mark Valley uses a night light. Not because he is afraid of the dark, but because the dark is afraid of Mark Valley

Anyone watching tonight's episode? Apparently Chuck Norris isn't the only one who can defy the laws of physics.

Can he execute a barrel roll in a jumbo jet topless?

Donna, I think the term you are looking for is "Shirtless". To me top less implies the presence of Man-Boobs.

Jesus turned water into wine. And then Chuck Norris turned the wine into beer.
And then Mark Valley / Chris Chance stared down Norris, made him cry without even touching him, and took all the beer.

There is no such thing as Global Warming…Mark Valley was cold so he turned the sun up.

Good Show – sure the plots will get better with time -like wine:-)

I heard a rumor that the Supe and Comm are meeting right now to commission a statue in Mark's likeness. All the other classes will raise funds to build it. It will, of course, be located outside Ike Hall.

OK…I didn't hear the rumor, I'm starting it!!

  • #14 Avatar Image Mike Pratt said 1 month, 2 weeks ago:

Certain body parts on said statue will be required to be touched prior to completing the IOCT, very much like what's-his-name's spurs prior to TEE's – all for good luck

Input for design team–please make the statue sans shirt.
