Need some Techy help. I broke down and bought a LG Blu Ray Disc player. Hooked it up, plugged it in and it would freeze up while playing a movie. Checked wiring, rewired, used other wires sill froze up. Tried a DVD (vs a Blu Ray Disc) in the machine, worked fine. Bought another Blu Ray to try, it also froze up. Got pissed off disconnected went back to Best Buy on assumption I bought the bad one in the lot. Brought new one home hooked it up, watched Zombie Land – worked great. BTW there really is a dramatic difference in picture. No I am smiling, loving the Blu Ray and ready for second movie of the double feature. Put in Angels and Demons, got an hour and a half into it and the movie starting freezing up again. Other than noticing the player was very hot, not sure what else to do. I lifted the player off of the receiver to help with air circulation but it did not help. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated otherwise I am going back to best buy and picking a fight with the Geek Squad.

Any ’87 folks heading down to Ft Lauderdale for the AUSA Winter Symposium next week? If so, maybe we can get a group together and discuss ”Human Target” or other less important subjects. (Oh yeah…and drink beer!!)

Not sure if y’all watched Mark Valley’s new show ”Human Target” last night on FOX. It was well done and Mark comes across as intelligent and witty, although by the end of the show he’s pretty beat up!!
He has a good time slot, Wednesday after ”American Idol,” so I hope he does well. As Marv Walworth would say ”Outstanding Mr Valley!” (Ya gotta imagine the voice)

Can anyone share any information on the whereabouts of our former classmate Chris McCarthy? He hailed from MA and left WP midway thru our yearling year to pursue studies at MIT. Anybody seen or heard from him or can point me in his direction?
