Pete – I just sent a message to some of '58. No one seems to want to read the message that provides a link t reply – they keep replying to the drop copy email itself (which is addressed to the BN Admin (me) but they don't catch that I guess.

Jay – You are absolutely right. Nice catch. I will add those and other fields shortly. We also plan on making use of many of the fields in a user’s profile…like doing a cool mashup of grads in a specific geographic location so people can reconnect and plan get togethers.

  • While using a search filter, I get kicked back to the full directory when going to next page. For example, filtered 1987 and had 190 hits. When I went to page to, there were over 500 results. Keep up this labor of love. I’m sure it takes a great deal of uncompensated personal time, but it’s a brilliant idea. I loved the comment about how there are more classmates here than on facebook. I just have to check more often,

  • As discussed on the phone earlier today, I believe this kind of interactive platform will serve our class well. I look forward to working with you on that project (for support, as needed) as well as launching the parachute team group.

One feature request at this point: Allow comments/notes to be added to the Friend Requests. This is particularly important when you don’t personally know the individual and would like to add brief context to the invite.

Thanks again for this fantastic initiative!

  • First, this is an awesome site. I’ve been a ghost for a long time, and this site has managed to keep me engaged. I’ve recommended it to any grad I happen to stumble across. Like the ”Invite a Grad” button. Makes it simpler.

Don’t know if this is where you want us to report bugs, but seems as good a place as any (haven’t figure out how to email Site Admin). The counter in the top bar dropdown for my notifications was incorrect. It reported 2 group invites, but there was only one (to the group ”Educators, Trainers, and Community Leaders”).

Keep up the good work. Big bites for everyone.

  • Mica – So great to hear from you and thanks for the praise. Your suggestion is spot on and that section is in the works as we speak, including pics, vids, etc . I want to make sure it’s easy, intuitive and most of all – social – ie can link across members and promote interaction. I will friend you as me shortly.

  • Great job on creating this site – it is very well thought out and executed.

One suggestion – why don’t you have a section that links to other social networks we belong to; for example, I am part of linked-in and facebook and I would like BugleNotes members to be able to look at my info or photo albums if they so choose. As far as I know, that would be a unique function since most of these sites revenues are ad-driven and they don’t want you straying outside. I suppose it comes down to how this site is being funded.

I am sure you want to add a photo album as well, but again probably an issue of cost.

Kiko and Mike – fantastic job on this…
